A delightful golden balm made from wild harvested solar infused Cottonwood buds and Beeswax.

Cottonwood balm is wonderfully healing for cuts, scrapes and inflammation. It is also medicinally known for its pain-relieving effects as well as being mildly sedative. The sweet-smelling sticky sap, also known as "Balm of Gilead", has been used for centuries to treat a variety of skin troubles, from eczema and arthritis to minor burns and bruises. This is truly a heal-all balm.

This particular Balm is very high energy. Golden yellow, fragrant and rich, it’s a Ritualistic experience simply dipping your fingers in the jar. The energy from the buds, bursting with life, is palpable. They are then Infused gently into olive oil by the suns rays, soaking up the divine energy of NATOSI.

We harvested the Cottonwood Buds from alongside a river, carefully collecting the precious buds from fallen branches. The buds are then solar infused in organic olive oil for days on a sunny windowsill. We then infuse them in a cool dark place for almost an entire year. Only then are they heated with local Beeswax to create the sublime Balm of Gilead.

This process yielded the most beautiful, sunny golden yellow Balm. The fragrance is delightful and almost otherworldly. Deep sultry notes of Vanilla, honey and resins, sticky, sweet and incredibly beautiful. We have added Rose Absolute and hand extracted Frankincense Resins to this Balm for their beautiful scent and skin nourishing properties.
