This unique bowl is exquisitely hand-crafted from a single piece of metamorphic onyx. Third generation artisans from the Balochistan Province in Western Pakistan turn solid stone blocks on lathes to create these beautiful bowls to support their family and community.

Rainbow onyx a form of agate, and forms mostly in cavities of eruptive rock or lava. The banded structure, with successive layers, displays a variety of colours. it displays shades of banded white and natural amber or honey coloured markings. Each unique piece is richly polished by hand to a shine.

Onyx is wonderful for use in Emotional Healing. It symbolizes purity and transparency, and it is used to encourage feelings of peace and calmness. This vessel is wonderful to use in your Smudging practice to hold the Smoke Cleansing Stick or Loose herbs because of its purifying and cleansing properties. Onyx has the ability to absorb negative energy, and can trap and hold negativity from its environment. This makes it a helpful ally when smoke cleansing, or preforming any Ritual where negative energies may be released. Onyx will strengthen and purify your practice.

To use, simply place any gemstones that you wish to cleanse/charge into this bowl, and leave out under the Full or New Moon. You may also use it in more complicated Cleansing Rituals and Solar Charging Ceremonies. I suggest using Alabaster when Communicating with Spirit, as it is helpful when moving energy back and forth. It is used to encourage feelings of peace and calmness.

These beautiful vessels also make a wonderful tea light holder. We suggest using beeswax candles in them, as beeswax is also a natural purifier.
