Smouldering woods after dark.
The Protect Candle was born from a night spent in a cedar treehouse on North Pender Island. Forty feet above the ground, we were surrounded by rain-darkened branches, ravens and cool sea air. The scent of cedar seemed to rise from the tree itself—deep, resinous and smoky—shaping a fragrance that holds the darkness and quiet beauty of that night.
Charred red cedar and dark oak create a smoky, resinous foundation, like glowing embers after the flame has settled. Tobacco flower emerges at the heart—musky, softly floral and slightly wild—layered with ripe blackberry, honey absolute and warm amber.
Wild orange and bergamot cut through the darker notes with a flash of brightness. Deep, dark and completely unique, Protect balances smouldering wood and amber resin with soft florals, ripe berries and a touch of citrus—leaving the room smelling of glowing embers, dark fruit and forest air.
