Created from local Cowichan Blackberries carefully plucked from the bushes on our property. We spent a lovely, sun soaked day sampling many blackberries before finding the most perfect ones to be made into candles. Each blackberry candle is completely unique, and they couldn't look more adorable piled up together.
Lovingly made by hand, using traditional methods, by our team of artisan candlemakers in the Cowichan Valley.
A truly farm to candle experience, we visit our beekeepers and their bees in person to collect our wax. It is then filtered, poured and cured in our studio.
We use natural organic cotton wicks and no additives or scents. Simply pure, Island beeswax, sustainably and ethically collected.

Each candle is different in size and shape. Approx. 1.5' tall and 1' wide
Burns for 15 - 20 mins each
Burn on a stable, heat proof surface.
Candles will drip
** this is a natural product, and will have natural imperfections. The Homestead Candle Collection has been created for whimsy and joy, the candles are uniquely shaped and will drip when burned. Please use a drip plate
Trim wick to 1/4” with each and every use.
Always burn on a heat resistant plate to catch dripping wax. Never burn directly on or near flammable items such as a table cloth or napkin.
Keep candles clear of any wick trimmings or used matches and also away from curtains or flammable materials.
Never burn a candle near a draft. It will cause uneven melting, smoking and dripping in taper candles.

100% pure beeswax from the Cowichan Valley. While some beeswax candles are made by melting all parts of the honeycomb, we only use pure capping wax (the super fine wax seal on top of the honeycomb)

One of nature's perfect products, beeswax is simply a natural wax made by bees – which can then be carefully collected from hives by beekeepers.
